I ran across this great blog from Kirsten Bullock at the SOFII website about our Fundraising Effectiveness Project (FEP). If you’ve read some of my earlier posts, you know I’m a strong proponent of solid data to advance the profession and help us make our case in the public policy and education arenas.
It doesn’t get any more solid than the FEP. Not only does the FEP provide great data for the sector, but the baseline measurements it provides to you can help identify areas where you need to improve.
Kirsten makes the case as well as I could, so if your organization hasn’t gotten involved with the FEP yet, I strongly encourage you to do so soon. The more organizations that participate, the better the data will be and the more use you’ll get out of this great resource.
